• High Quality & Safe: RO membranes are constructed from Polyamide Thin-Film Composite, tested to meet NSF/ANSI 58 Standards by independent labs. The membrane housing is made from food-grade material, lead-free, and BPA-free, ensuring a non-toxic and odourless water filtration experience.
• 600 GPD RO Membrane: Produces 500 gallons of purified water daily (205 gallons / 81 litres per hour). The thicker bowl enhances compressive capacity and explosion-proof strength, ideal for use with reverse osmosis membrane filters to yield pure water and concentrated maple sap.
• High Contaminant Rejection: The RO Membrane has a rating of 0.0001 micron, effectively removing heavy metals, organics, and other soluble salts from water.
• Maple Syrup RO System: Recommended work pressure is 100 psi for use in a Maple Syrup reverse osmosis system. We advise heating and maintaining the raw sap at 104°F (40°C) to prevent membrane clogging, while keeping it below 113°F (45°C) to avoid damage from excessive heat.
